Tbh I think something like math is or foreign languages is fine, because it’s one of those things where practice makes you better at it. Despite being a person that loves history, homework for that is useless. Which is why I was glad those classes I took in college didn’t have homework assignments.

I am against giving homework to kids. Kids spend 6-7 hours in school, why should they spend 1-2 hours more doing homework. What will kids learn doing homework that they have not learned at school? Kids need time for afterschool activities.
It won't change anyway, they will always get to do after school homework
In some Asian countries, doing homework is too much. I think students can do more activities at school than spend a lot of time doing homework at home.
I think a moderate amount of homework is okay. This is to ensure the students can review what they have learned in classes. But I am against giving too much homework to students. They need free time to play and relax after school.
Home work in moderation I think is good. It keeps the child's mind in focus
