An awesome film with Dianne Wiest. I've been a fan of hers since seeing Edward Scissorhands for the first time. Kiefer Sutherland as a vampire was awesome

I loved Kiefer Sutherland in this movie. He made a really good vampire and it's stated he never died at the end because they were planning on putting him up in a sequel to which he never reprised his role.

It would be weird if they did a sequel now before he dies as vampires aren't supposed to age :p Although they have made people look younger in movies and shows before.

It's way too late for him to come back like it was for Christopher Lambert with Highlander.

They'd have to AI his face to someone and have him do a voice over like they did with Arnold Schwarzenegger in one of the Terminator movies.

They could also do a Lost Boys with new characters and have him return but as a cameo as a completely different character or something.

True but they haven't made any good sequels that was just as good as the first movie sadly. They've all been hit and miss.
