Do you agree with this:

Every religion, every social movement, every belief system needs to have one basic reality at its core. I’ll give you an image: “like a tree: many branches but however those branches have a trunk where they meet.” Every religion has the shared fact that we will die someday but when an ideology loses the most basic of facts and replaces it with a theory like for example: We don’t die we (insert theory) then it becomes a cult. I look around at the world today and see this happening. It’s a very dangerous thing that people don’t seem to realize.

When I was in hospital back in 2010 I didn’t know where exactly I was but at the core of the divided experience was the fact that I was in an institution and being given drugs. That was true. If that basic fact wasn’t there and either replaced with a theory or worse nothing at all I would’ve been effed !

Interesting concept...let me ponder this for a bit!

One thing I see happening in this world is people trying to replace the most basic facts that unite us from our individual experiences. Often replacing it with something ideological. For example you go to a festival to see a show, while you’re experiencing a different version of that event that is uniquely yours you were all at a festival to see a show. If you take that basic fact and say no the festival never existed it was just a “vibe” then you get into dangerous territory.

What may help is for people to think on this with their own terminology that fits their heart. I also think of Roots & Foundation. When the Roots are shaken up, we are not stable. We will collapse. Not just as individuals but as humans on this planet. All are tied into each other. Even if we don’t realize it.
I believe we are Human BEings first & foremost. We are not born a certain religion. We are not born with certain beliefs. They come later. But we are born as a person. A Human BEing. When people stop focusing so much on our differences & this diversifying & inclusiveness which just makes us MORE divided, they’ll find the CORE is US.
