So I was sitting by my backdoor for about an hour tonight just watching the tremendous amount of rain coming down and the sounds/flashes or thunder/lightning from the storm going through. The amount of rain that was coming down, ultimately overwhelmed the sewer system and there was mild flooding. From what I could see though, it was mostly contained to the catch basins where the sewers connect to the storm drains, so nothing major. You just gotta slow down while driving through the big puddles everywhere. It was nice to just stay home, and not have to go anywhere. Just enjoying mother nature from the comfort of my home. I loved it.

How do you feel about thunderstorms? Love them? Hate them?

I love watching a thunderstorm from the indoors. I'm not worried about being struck by lightning as the odds are around 1/15,300. It's more of a concern being caught in the middle of a downfall of rain!

Getting soaked is the worst.

I love thunderstorms. As long as I'm not physically being drenched, I am happy to watch them and for them to go on forever. It's even better when you get to fall asleep to the sound of heavy rain.

I like sleeping while it's raining. Shame that over here we get only 40+ rain days a year.

I used to think that thunderstorms was god's wrath over something i did wrong lol.

With so many heatwaves and parts of the UK has had thunderstorms, I had mist and fog and with no thunderstorms LOL

Cost to cost life hype. I don't mind them, but they can keep me awake at night.

What is the normal temp your city has throughout the year? i'm curious to know what you call a heatwave :p

In summer this

year we had like 28c max so far. then again I'm near the cost but that heatwave doesn't last that long

We have around 42c on heatwaves. :)
