Do you use a touch screen monitor for your PC? (Why/Why Not)

I have used a touchscreen Laptop before and played around with them in-store and I'm no fan of them.

Why?

Spent more time cleaning the fingermarks off from the screen to be able to see films :p plus typing on the keyboard is easily more than touching the keyboard and just not used to it. PLus the trend is now over, back in the year 2014 or 2015 it was big back then, soon after as in 2019 it dyed away. Ment for Phones and tablet

I don't really see the need for a touchscreen laptop. If I wanted to use touchscreen, I would just use a tablet or my phone. On PC, it makes more sense to use a keyboard and mouse.

The ergonomics of a touchscreen on a desktop are so horrible my arms get sore thinking about it.

I do have a touch screen on my work laptop - I don't use it at all. It came with it and I didn't discover that until like a few months after I received it.

I don't because it leaves finger prints and other junk all over the screen. Clean screens make me happy. ?

I have a touch screen laptop and I love it. It's just something convenient to have for certain tasks and I love being able to just tap things on my screen once in a while.

I have two touchscreen laptops. I can see it being useful for those who draw or like handwriting notes. Outside of that, it feels more combersome to use. It's like... I'm already using the mouse or trackpad, so taking my hand off of it to reach the screen feels like unecessary work.

I had a touch screen on a laptop a number of years ago, but the last 2-3 laptops I’ve purchased haven’t had it. I personally don’t care for the feature. I guess it’s convenient if you’ve got a laptop that folds into a tablet, but those aren’t things I’ve ever had a need for.
