Touch screen monitor

I have used a touchscreen Laptop before and played around with them in-store and I'm no fan of them.
Why?
Spent more time cleaning the fingermarks off from the screen to be able to see films
plus typing on the keyboard is easily more than touching the keyboard and just not used to it. PLus the trend is now over, back in the year 2014 or 2015 it was big back then, soon after as in 2019 it dyed away. Ment for Phones and tablet

I don't really see the need for a touchscreen laptop. If I wanted to use touchscreen, I would just use a tablet or my phone. On PC, it makes more sense to use a keyboard and mouse.
Nope, just gets messy and one more thing to break.
Nope I've never had any touch screen tech other than my phone. I can see it coming in handy the very odd time but not so often that I'd bother with it myself.
I have often been fascinated by touchscreen monitors but I do worry about any issues that could come from touchscreen monitors and also how delicate they may be.

That's what I'm thinking too! It's nice if you don't have to use the screen too often and it's for a business, but not for real computer usage by normal people every day.
I have two touchscreen laptops. I can see it being useful for those who draw or like handwriting notes. Outside of that, it feels more combersome to use. It's like... I'm already using the mouse or trackpad, so taking my hand off of it to reach the screen feels like unecessary work.
I had a touch screen on a laptop a number of years ago, but the last 2-3 laptops I’ve purchased haven’t had it. I personally don’t care for the feature. I guess it’s convenient if you’ve got a laptop that folds into a tablet, but those aren’t things I’ve ever had a need for.
I am sorry to say that it is not. Perhaps if I have enough money to buy this kind of computer, I will purchase it.
I do not like this touch screen concept My friend lost all stored addresses on her mobile as she 'touched' the wrong space accidentally (lol)
