Type with your eyes closed

Ok, that's pretty easy, I always type without staring at the keyboard or the reply vbox, I'm usually concentrating on what I'm responding TO for the stream of consciousness aspect of it.

Let's see if I can type with my eyes closed. Hello Kylie, hopefully this message makes sense and you're able to provide response to it ;)

Not too bad. Just missed an "a" in between provide and response.

Hello Ash, am responding to your message with my eyes closed as I type this.

Yeah, typing from quite a young age has helped me quite a bit actually. I'm not typing this with my eyes closed at the moment but I am staring at the forum header. Typing on a different laptop or desktop would completely throw me off though.

Do you guys think you could type at the same pace with your eyes closed? Or would you be faster with your eyes open?

Since I use the touch typing method, I would assume the pace would be the same. What do you think?

I have actually tried to do that one time and I ended up typing full rubbish, so I'm so sorry I won't be doing it all over again and have myself disgraced all over again ?.

I'm having a go at this right now, I think that actually I am typing faster with my eyes closed than I do with them open because I am not proofreading the words I have just written at the same time as I am writing the next one. It feels like it is going ok so far, maybe there is a typo somewhere but there can't be too many of them. I would struggle a lot more if there were a lot of numbers and symbols involved as I think that I probably do look at the keys a bit when I am typing those.

Wow, excellent job! (typed with eyes closed)

I took typing class in high school and we had to type without looking at the typewriters. It makes it very convenient :D
That's exactly how I learned, too, they would even cover our hands with paper or something similar so we couldn't see the keys. Helped a lot!
