Do you have a lot of unanswered threads on your forum?

Sometimes when I go to a forum, even on the ones I'm on staff at, I'll go through the Unanswered Threads to see if there is a way I can contribute. How about you?
 
I always go through the new posts to see if there's something I can contribute. I usually do, but if there's something like a news bot post or an advertisement, then I tend to just let it go and respond to more authentic conversations.
 
I tend to find a lot of unanswered threads and it is a shame to see so many. When I have the time both on forums I own and also forums I am staff on, i will got through and try to reply to them if I can add to them in a way that keeps the thread going.

I do love that Xenforo has an option to see unanswered threads, not sure of any other software that does at this time though.
 
I read them, but if I fibd them uninteresting, I just ignore it.

I personally can’t stand posting for the sake of posting.

I also notice that posting for the sake of posting in those threads encourages the user more to post similar threads, as opposed to giving them the hint to post something the users would actually engage in.
