I would say someone who has betrayed my trust. I'm usually quite lenient & easy-going. However, once that trust is broken, I will always be civil, that's who I am, but that person will be at arms-length from here on out. Some things can be forgiven as well as forgotten, but to me, trust is not one of them. What do you think?

This. Trust is hard earned rarely given. If I trust someone with my honest feelings and intentions and they betray that, then there's no turning back, no rewriting the page.

I would also say that a few other deal-breakers would be:
  • Lack of communication
  • Cheating
  • Lying
  • Stealing

"Tests."

Mature adults do not run tests on their partner's loyalty, responsibility, kindness, spirituality, whatever the hell. That shit is for children playing house.

The trust part like you said. Always wanting me to spend money on them, lying to get what they want, getting an attitude with me for no reason, are unemployed, and treating my kids like crap are some big factors.

Oh wait. I had a relationship like that. I sent her packing.

  1. Cheating: NOT allowed. Will not be tolerated, i will forgive but NEVER forget.
  2. Insulting/humilliating: Your partner should never do this. Praise on public and critics between 4 walls.
  3. Lying: Constant lies.
  4. Sexting with other people: That is not a joke or "fun".
