I don't really know the name of my phobia.. I used to label it as Hemophobia (fear of blood), but it isn't really. It's more the sight of gruesome injuries, and when you can see things that should be inside the body.
Needless to say that biology was my least favourite subject at school.. ?
I forgot to mention that I also have Claustrophobia. I will freak out if I'm putt into a confined space with no way out - for example a closed MRI machine.
I love the ocean, I love the beach and have taken swimming classes several times over the years to get over my fears of drowning but I am still terrified of drowning! It's really unfortunate having irrational fears and phobias because it robs you from living your best life and enjoying experiences.
I have quite a few phobias, they are spiders, heights, being trapped in an enclosed space and dying.
I never knew I had a huge fear of dying until after I had my third child, I was sat one morning whilst he was asleep and it suddenly dawned on me, what would happen to my kids when I die.
That upset me quite bad and has been a fear ever since.
