When your sink is clogged?

Usually I try to use a hanger or something equivalent to fish out anything that may be causing the clog. If it's too deep or I'm not able to reach anything I use draino. If that still doesn't work then I unhook the pvc pipes to see if I can access the clog on that level. I have yet to not have any of those methods work so imagine if I'm unable to fix it then I would ask a professional for help.

Pour one cup of fresh baking soda down the drain, followed by one cup of white vinegar. Place a rubber stopper or other sink hole cover over the drain opening. Wait 15 minutes to allow the vinegar and baking soda to unclog your drain, Then take out the drain cover and run hot tap water down the drain to clear the clog.

I have a bent hanger that I use.
@Kylie I've done that too. People underestimate the mixture of baking soda & vinegar & the bubbling action. I use those to clean as well.
If all else fails, since we don't use chemicals, we'll take the sink apart because sometimes there's a clump of something that has to be dislodged. Overall, we are big on prevention. Snare traps help catch human hair & pet fur.

Introduce a piece of wire of 1.5 feet or 80cm :p in the hole... is one of the cheapest and easiest ways to do it! :D

Zip-it. Just pull slow or you'll fling nasty filth all over the bathroom. It works better than draino, costs less, and won't harm your septic if you have one.

My hubby normally pours some drain-o down in there and that usually does the trick. I guess I would do what Sharon does if the drain-o thing didn't work.
