Will God of War ever get a movie?

God of War series is one of the biggest video game franchise out there that's been pulling a lot of strings in the gaming industry. The latest release God of War Ragnarok is apparently almost done but not yet released.

Do you think the game would ever get a movie or TV show made after it?

I'm positive they will one day. Just not soon.

I probably won't see a GoW movie any time soon, but a movie based on the Great War between the titans and the gods...now THAT would be a fantastic movie if done right. I love Greek mythology, Clash of the titans and wrath of the titans were as close as they have come to doing anything of that nature, but there is always room for improvement!

I think it needs to get the HBO treatment like Game of thrones did, since they are rather similar.

I don't see why it wouldn't get a movie, I can see this decade being the decade for the best video game movies and there's tons of them coming out soon and the best ones have already been released too. GoW will most likely be one of them.

Wouldn't surprise me if it eventually got an adaptation, agree with @Ravenfreak in that I suspect we'll be seeing plenty of VG adaptations over the next couple of years.
