Hi all
I am part of the team that runs a site and forum about sustainable living, the environment, climate change, etc.
It started out in Latvia and Lithuania and some of the articles focus on the Batlic states, but almost all of the forum topics are much more general than that and relevant...
Yes, the EU made the GDPR laws, but the UK made a direct copy of them in UK law that is still active so sites that are based in the UK or that have UK visitors still need to comply.
Lots of EU laws were copied into UK law as 'equivalency'. Let's not forget that the UK was part of the EU for...
It's a long time since I saw this, but I remember it being a pretty good movie.
I completely didn't realise that there are actually four films in the series and the latest one was just a few years ago.
I'm Irish but living in England, so I guess my view still counts :)
Italy were on balance the better team across the whole 120 minutes. England started out well and had spells but if you look at the amount of possession and shots (I haven't checked) I'm fairly sure they will show Italy were in...
It depends on the cheese but mostly I am happy just to eat it on it's own with some fresh bread or crackers.
Then there is mozzarella which I can just throw on or in absolutely everything before putting it in the oven.
You think that people don't judge you on your favourite movie though?
We might like to think that we are not judgemental people, but we are all doing it all of the time to everyone that we interact with, we just do it according to different criteria depending on who we are ourselves.
I was always told that if you cut it then it grows faster and I've never really thought about it, but that doesn't actually make any sense because it's the roots that grow and you cut the opposite end, so is there any truth in this?
It's also important to think about where the backups are stored. If they are on the same server or even in the same datacentre then in the case of disaster they are still not safe, like the fire at the OVH datacentre a couple of months ago.
Whether you are making your own backups or just...
I think that sums it up right there.
Assuming that it is not an actual date date, but something where both people know that the kids are going to be there, then that's a whole different thing already.
Having loaded guns anywhere is surely a recipe for accidents and for people doing stupid and deadly things in the heat of emotional moments, it's just something that makes no sense to me.
If you get to go back to being 18 with all of the skills, knowledge and memories you have now then that is definitely the best option.
100k is very little compared to those extra years to do things better and be more successful.
Obviously if I was 19 or 20 when I answered this I would take...
Something being 'free of censorship' is a kind of double edged sword. Of course we all want freedom of speech, but it also gives free license for hate speech, racism, intolerance and dangerous fake news.
It depends on how well dark mode is implemented I think. A lot of websites create a colour scheme for light mode and then use some auto dark mode that destroys it all.
If dark mode is done properly though, then it can be a lot easier on the eyes I think, especially at night.
I'll go to the doctor if it is something that doesn't get better in a few days. In case it is something serious it is much better and easier to treat if it is caught earlier and not let to get worse.
Ruby or football (by which I mean soccer not American football - that seems very stop-starty to me).
Team sports are more entertaining to watch than individual sports in my opinion because you get to watch more emotions and interactions.
Russia is no more or less terrifying than any other country with nuclear weapons.
Let's not forget that the only country in the world to have actually used nuclear weapons is the USA, and that is the same country that recently almost elected Donald Trump to be president for a second term. The...
Agreed, I had a wisdom tooth infection and had to have it removed, it was terrible pain until I could get an appointment, and then it was really difficult for them to remove it for some reason as well. A pretty traumatic experience. ?
I tried one of these and really did not like it at all, but then I don't like green tea so I'm not sure why that would surprise me.
The pink one that is made from 'ruby cocoa beans' I love though!
And I'm massively jealous of Japan where they have about 200 different kitkat flavours, including...
I've thought deeply about this after my previous answer...
In terms of taste alone then it is raspberry but you end up with the little seeds between your teeth and that is annoying. So, the real answer is plum, plum jam for the win.
A good croissant is a wonderful and amazing thing, a little piece of culinary are that doesn't need to be filled with, or covered in, anything at all. It should be eaten and loved alone, together with a cup of good coffee.
A bad croissant is a sad thing that should just be avoided totally.
I...
I actually jumped backwards this morning when I dropped my coffee. Not really sure why I jumped, I think it was to prevent it getting on my boots, in which case I failed because it still splashed all over them.
haha, it's a good point. If you play a lot of games then you'd think jumping is something that everyone does everyday.. I really don't know when the last time I had to jump in real physical life was!
I wouldn't generally sit there and drink on my own, maybe a beer or a couple of glasses of wine in the evening, but if I was with a friend or two we could blow through it during a weekend.
Yes, but that wasn't really my point, could be 16 and 22 - it still seems like a big gap, but as you age the same size gap is a smaller percentage of lifetime which makes it less important.
So.... How are we defining jam here?
I'm fairly sure that it means different things in the UK and the US, as does jelly?
In any case, any berries apart from strawberry. Blackberry or raspberry especially.
With the way the world economy works, if we want to have infrastructure and public services then taxes are a necessary evil. The big question is what exactly is taxed and how, and whether it is fair to everyone.
LIghtly toasted and with plenty of butter and/or cream cheese plus whatever else happens to be to hand.

Why vegan butter if you eat cream cheese?
