I do agree that SMS is yet another app, but it's something that relies on a telecom provider, so even if some server is down somewhere it would still function because it uses telecom towers. True the best way of communication is face to face, technology just helps us communicate better I guess.

Nope, I play FiveM instead, not a huge fan of playing with kids who kill everyone they see. FiveM gives you a opportunity to select who you play with, there are servers with mature people you can play with. But I haven't played FiveM for a while now due to Uni. Nope, definitely not French.
