They've had various bits of information for a long time but they only act on it in the last minute. What did Boris say? Christmas was extremely important and we would not have a lockdown. What did they do? Put some of us in a lockdown extremely late when the majority of people had already made plans and started leaving to meet other family members.

It will create a few jobs but there are other industries in the UK that are worth much much more. The focus should have been on those industries and not just the fishing one.
