Well, I meant that mindset. We're having an issue right now where people are refusing to go back to work because they've been getting spoiled by making more on unemployment staying home than going to work like the rest of us.There's only one me in the whole world so i'm sorry United States

It's ok to have some sort of help during harsh time but you need to know that things ain't free and someone else is doing 2x the work because you're not doing what you've got to do. People here are the same but they can't make a living out of the helping programs though.
Well, that's what I'm saying. The pay for unemployment was 600 a week for federal and then state unemployment on top of that. Thankfully they're gradually reducing it; but, there's a bunch of part-time workers who have been asked to return and have replied: 'Why? I make more money on unemployment than I did working'
Here, they only give you virtual money to buy at specific supermarkets so they can't really do anything else like paying the rent for example so they still need to work.
That sounds like a great method; but, a lot of the places that would collect rent and such have been told to pause that and evictions. It's been a strange time here.
Oof, that must have been tough. Luckily for me, my workplace works with my uni so I will most likely have 3 days of work and then 2 days at uni. Still a bit busy but not as bad as having to go to uni straight after work.
Sometimes you've gotta stick to their rules until you come up with a great idea or you're lucky enough to find an opportunity to build something.
Well, I'm not disputing that. I'm just saying that they could remove a lot of the 'required' general education courses or make it easier to take them. They just add years to obtaining your degree and take the place of required courses. Don't get me wrong, it's nice to have an easy class or two to break things up.
I'm not very familiar with educational systems (my country's is the most deficient in latin-america) but i guess that it should be oriented to be more competent everyday. Technical degrees should be more complete too.
The technical/trade degrees are. They have a set you get your apprenticeship by x years. College can be as long or as short as you make it, usually dependent on if you're working through your time there which results in you taking less course hours or if you're trying to speed it up and take more hours.
I'm talking about my country, i know i can't compare it with the US so that's that.
I always wanted to attend college like Yale you know those you hear in the movies.. but anyway. I wish sometime in the future my kids could do that.
Why couldn't you attend Yale? They offer student visas and such.
It's late. I'm 29 and i just have a regular bachellor degree, i wasn't the best student either, why they would be interested in me?
Minority quotas they have to meet maybe, hard to say. You never know if you don't apply.
Ah that kinda pisses me off. I've been working during the whole plague as an "essential' business.
Better having a job and secure money but i guess you've had a hard time going to work and all that.
I mean because there are so many who are just lazy now and its like wtf..
Maybe you can suggest the rotation of personnel to work with the minimal amount of people.
