GT was a travesty, honestly. Some good points, but mostly trash. Super is ok, but I think they're taking WAY too far with the Super Sayian this and Super Saiyan that. I get it, but...just bring it back down a bit, imo. It's what sort of drove me away from DB in recent times. I've been happily buried in Made in Abyss waiting for the latest manga volumes and episodes to drop because DB just lost me a bit.

I thought GT was pretty random and the story was a complete mess. I hated that they turned Goku back into a 6 year old. The whole Baby Vegeta arc was kind of stupid. But I will admit Super Saiyan 4 was kind of cool.

I don't quite understand why Saiyans aren't biologically limited in the show like they did with humans and other alien species. I was happy that they brought Frieza back and went in a different direction with him.

Yep, Super Saiyan 4 and Omega Shenron were basically the only things that saved GT. Stupid things like Pan being a whiny brat, baby Goku, Baby/Vegeta and General Dildo or whatever his name was. Awful.

Agreed!! Sayians are just limitless beasts of power, apparently. Can't plateau, they can only go further and further, but hey, let's start out with an arbitrary power level system that instantly goes bonkers when we get to the first real villain of the show (Freiza) and then becomes utterly meaningless.

I feel like the fact that they keep making them stronger seems to take away from the "Legendary Super Saiyan" myth that the Saiyan race told stories about shortly before Frieza wiped them out. Goku and Vegeta aren't even LSS, only Broly. So it would make since if Broly never plateaued because he's an oddity of nature. But no. Instead he's landlocked with that one mean green over masculine form that is limited after so many power ups. That didn't make sense to me.

Agreed, they made the Legendary Super Saiyan totally irrelevant by adding in god powers. So stupid. Super Saiyan God, oh but now I can access god powers with blue hair! Oh but now I've got god powers with grey hair and we're calling it ultra instinct, oh but wait! Here comes purple Veggie! It's just ridiculous on its' face. The blonde hair, the blue eyes and even Gohan going one step beyond. That should have been it. Peak. But no.
