I wouldn't want to keep doing that either. Is there any way that guy can put some money back and have an Uber take him instead?

My husband is afraid to suggest it to the guy. Thankfully, the guy's surgery is scheduled for this coming Friday so that should be the end of it. After surgery he'll be off work for 3 weeks and then who knows. I told my husband if the surgery doesn't fix it, the guy needs to seriously go on disability or move across the street from where they work ;)

I mean I think Caleb Williams is the first QB off the board. No question about that. I'm curious if the Bears will take him and ship Justin Fields off somewhere, or if they'll trade down for more draft capital like last year. I expect Michael Penix Jr. to go around 10-15 if anything anyway. I think the Bears are 1-2 years off of being playoff contenders with how they've played their cards. Bo Nix will probably go in the second round but yeah 5-6 years in college is insane. They are definitely in their prime at the moment but who knows. Most rookie QB's struggle unless your name is CJ Stroud (and I thought CJ would be a bust). :p

The Bears are in great position, but I can only assume they'll somehow butcher that!

I'd say trade the #1 overall pick to one of these QB-desperate teams and get a collection of picks... I'd imagine Caleb Williams (or whoever a team has as their #1) could fetch three first round picks.
