Hello everyone. Took a break from forums and websites for a while. TBH my mental health is not great but it’s better than it was and I’m ready to talk to people again. I had to register again because I forgot some information
Good to see you back, there's nothing wrong at all with taking a break now and then for your mental health. There are a fair few of us around here that know a thing or two about the importance of tending to your mental health, myself included, so if you ever need someone to talk to, we're always here :)

I have my ups and downs. Seeing a new therapist and it’s hard talking about my past
Don't feel down if you don't click with your new therapist, I went through 30 of them before I found the one that really 'got' me. There's nothing wrong with not connecting with a therapist :)
 
I’ve only had a few sessions with her so far she’s good but we haven’t really connected yet.
Yep, that's perfectly normal. It can take time to build that connection, but if you do feel like it's not happening, like she's not the one, don't feel bad at all about switching. Therapy is to help you, so take control when you need to, including changing therapists. There's no one size fits all approach, so if something's not working, tell her or make a change :)
