Friday started badly, i hope it gets better throughout the day :(

I had a mini car accident, thank god it wasn't a big deal. It was really stupid tbh

Afternoon! Not too bad. Just happy that it is friday :D
 
I'm doing well, today is my first day off so I'm in the process of waking up before I take care of some errands cleaning up around my house.

I'm okay, the door of my car suffered a bit but it's not too great, the paint will suffer tho :(

Anyway i forgot about that already, is not worth mentioning, just take care of potential stupid people on wheels!

Being in an accident is stressful. I'm sorry that happened. My last really bad accident happened in 2013 and I was so stressed out. An elderly lady t-boned me. I had to take the rest of the day off from work. I was so jacked.

I've had a couple of accidents and none of them are fun or enjoyable as well as neither one of them being my fault.

Yeah, the persecutor went after me pretty hard in court because the old woman blamed me for the accident. The judge is a personal friend of my mothers and he dropped the case and said later that the lady was full of it. So I was very fortunate.
 
That's very true. I've heard a lot of people are starting to put cameras in their cars to record their daily commutes and to counter any potential lawsuits over accidents by providing video evidence to the contrary and such.

If the lady would have won. I would have had my license suspended and had to go to driver's school. The prosecutor was trying to state that I purposely pulled out in front of her. But fortunately that didn't happen and I'm thankful my mother was there. The judge is a really nice guy and I would do anything for him now. He really saved my ass.

But a camera on your dashboard, recording the event, would probably have saved you to if it showed that she pulled out in front of you without giving you sufficient or adequate stopping distance to react.
