So, I'm an avid fan of movies and am always looking to discover and share my passion for them. I came across this idea from a thread I saw on another community. The concept is pretty simple, it's a group of similar film lovers who get together weekly and watch a film. I recently discovered there's an awesome website/app called Kast that allows you to host 'rooms' where others can come and watch as you stream a movie, etc.

So, I'm curious. Who else would be interested in participating?
 
I would absolutely love this @Phenom and we could see about helping to promote it as well which could help get more members involved in this. Would we vote on movies to watch?
 
Yes, each participating member would nominate a film genre and then using a random wheel picker, a genre would be selected at the end of the deadline. Then we would nominate a film within that genre and again, the random wheel picker will choose the film.

Then it's just a matter of selecting a time that works for everyone.

Sounds good to me. I think it might be cool for us to do it monthly so that we can get as many people on it.

Yeah, we just need people who are interested and willing to participate.

Shouldn't be a problem. We can try to pick titles that have the option of subtitles with multiple language preferences.

Count me in too. I don't need an excuse to watch movies but having something suggested by others would help to broaden my horizons.

Awesome, if we can get maybe one more person we can get started with proposing a day and time and then picking the film.
 
You should participate in the trial and then make a decision on if you wish to continue to participate.
 
I am, but time zones are a pain. then again I can just watch a film anytime I want on my own :p LOL

But if we all do this, then Hell, be fun to do right? Girls night out
 
Well, we can try to aim for the weekend where most people have the ability to participate earlier in the day in the states.
