I downloaded this app last night and am testing out the trial. It's $20 annually - I might actually keep it. I have over 10k photos on my phone and it makes it easy to get rid of blurred shots and duplicate photos to ensure you only keep the ones you really want.

I thought this was going to be about the crypto platform. Haven't heard of the GEMINI app that you're referring to. Seems quite useful actually although not for me. I don't have too many photos so it's not a huge problem to go through them manually

The answer is that you cannot currently remove Google Photo duplicates using a batch process or third-party application. You can only remove duplicates in Google Photos cloud storage the manual way.

I do because it gives you the option to review the photos before they're deleted. You can simply uncheck them if you want to keep them.

I only save my photos on an external drive and use the others on some writing sites that I am working with.
