Sometimes we just don't have the time for our online projects so we decide to sell a blog or forum. But do you think the user's experience is impacted massively when the site gets a new owner? As a seller, does that matter to you?

If there is money to be made then I think that the new person will take care of it as they will not want to lose the money/incomeIf I had to sell I would love for it to be under the same care that I gave it, but I know there are few like me in the digital world, so I know I sell my site to a lesser admin

Once you sold the site, that's it. You should not need to worry about it and move on.I have sold many websites. The only thing that concerns me is whether the new owner is getting as much traffic as I was receiving, or earning as much money as I was earning.
You have a point but people buy sites for two main reasons, traffic, and revenue. If they don't receive the same kind of traffic and revenue, they might rate me badly and my reputation as a seller might be at stake.Once you sold the site, that's it. True, I have seen that happen and they failed to keep it goingYou have a point but people buy sites for two main reasons, traffic, and revenue. If they don't receive the same kind of traffic and revenue, they might rate me badly and my reputation as a seller might be at stake.
To be fair, that's still on them. As long as you gave them the correct stats and information before the sale, if they ruin it afterwards, that's on them. I doubt anyone would go after you as a seller because of thatYou have a point but people buy sites for two main reasons, traffic, and revenue. I sell through flippa, I have a 100 percent track record, this helps me in my future sales. Well, it is not possible to make everyone happy but I try to help the new owner so that he continues to receive the same kind of traffic and reveue. I offer after-sell support. To be fair, that's still on them. As long as you gave them the correct stats and information before the sale, if they ruin it afterwards, that's on them.
