User ranks or badges?

Is there any way we can get some form of user ranks or badges that change as we 'level up'? The text-based ones are kind of lackluster and leave a lot to be desired - props for the effort though.

This is actually on the list of things to do that @Ash and I have discussed in the past. Stay tuned .

Also, my text ones are lackluster? . I thought they were "fun" (jokes, I know what you mean)

They're not bad! Just not fun to look at when you're clicking refresh 1,000,000 times waiting for the red alert icon to pop up with a new reply, thread, etc.

We were planning to get some user bars made but those were only for the upgraded groups and staff members and not really for activity levels. We do have some badges at the moment based on activity levels and we will look into introducing more of those. Like @Hungry Ego mentioned, if you upgrade to Sapphire you can get yourself a fancy user bar that shows you've been pretty active
