But it also means that they can take what used to have 10 people working on it and spread it out over 50 or more. It's merely become one of over 20 other publishing companies they've acquired
We'll just to have to wait and see.
Don Mattrick, inadvertently, was the reason why the PS4 did as well as it did. Oh! He didn't work for Sony. He worked for Microsoft and according to them, they lost 226 million dollars, and Don almost landed the XBONE right into the toilet. The XBONE had and still has a lot of software and hardware problems because of what he did to it. I'm hoping this next console doesn't share those issues. I'm really hoping they don't.
Don's the guy that gave all the bad press saying that the XBONE was going to be online only with month to month subscriptions. which it was and Microsoft put out a patch giving the XBONE offline mode.
It was also his idea to give the XBONE short life spans where the OS locks up and people had to go out and get a new one. Which was what happened to 2 separate consoles that I owned.
Apparently Microsoft couldn't afford to do "undo" what he did. They just did a lot of hush hush clean up after this greedy idiot. They had to patch the XBONE OS with hundreds of software updates.
That's why we've seen so many models of the XBONE's released. Microsoft cleaning up after one of their PRIZED employees!
It comes to no surprise but Sony fed off of all of this and the PS4 became the next super successful console internationally. Yea, it outsold the XBONE because of what Don did. So Microsoft fired Don. Why not? The guy was bleeding them dry. He was sinking the ship and needed to go.
Thanks to Don Mattrick. Microsoft has been trying to cover lost ground. So that would explain why they're going all out on this console. Evidently they have a lot riding on this.
