Yes. It was okay. It appears that they're continuing the plotline from the previous film.

It just looks like Lauri was defending herself from a home invasion and almost dies as an unarmed victim from a crazed lunatic wearing a mask. He gets shot 6 times at the end by Dr. Loomis. He obviously doesn't die because of plot immunity.

Then in the 2nd film, Lauri shoots him twice in the face and blows him up. Then in the 4th film, the sheriff's department fills him full of lead. They shot him in every organ he had. No way he would have or should have survived that. Then 5 and 6 they try canonically state the reason why they keep bringing him back is because of the poorly written Curse of Thorn nonsense that didn't really say if he was immortal or not.

Then we have the horribly made Rob Zombie garbage remakes that the original film maker of Halloween hated. Now we have a new sequel that I could have cared less for. I'm less thrilled that we're getting this new upcoming movie.

I wouldn't call it a Halloween costume. Some people make good costumes for cosplay that look pretty good.

Jenna Lynn Meowri has some pretty amazing costumes.
