It's A Me, Mario!
Well, I know locations around me that are empty for years, in fact, many years. Plus older buildings and old railway stations that left to root out of the earth.

There is an old empty building that used to be a school and then a care home and left empty for eight years. 5mins walking from my home. Said that many people have died there.

There are a couple of places in my town that are reportedly "haunted".

There is one house that has now been turned into a museum.

Also, the old courthouse (not the one they're using today) that is reportedly haunted by the many people that were given a death sentence by the judge at the time.

There is a path nearby that is pretty creepy. My mum thinks she saw a strange guy there once that just disappeared when she turned around. Other than that, nothing too spooky near my location. Probably for the best, to be honest. I can sleep peacefully this way lol

The next town over from where I live is a 10-mile desolate stretch of roadway predominantly surrounded by undeveloped woodland. Over the years this street has given rise to many rumors and ghostly sightings, and had been the site of some several tragedies as well.

One of the most common ghost stories shared is that of a dead young boy who hangs under the bridge at Dead Man’s Curve. The Ghost Boy as he is referred to is said to returns coins to you after you throw them in the water, according to Weird NJ. It’s not entirely clear if this is the exact bridge that such phenomenon has occurred because there is also a bridge found south of Dead Man’s Curve near the old stone iron furnace as well, but clearly visitors have had a try at experiencing the Ghost Boy with coins visible in the water stream beneath the bridge.

Thinking back on this thread, there is this house that is near where my grandmother's house......my grandmother said it was used as a hospital during the Civil War. I've often wondered if that house is haunted.
