Very weird. There are a few users from FP on there already although they could be fake too.

I wonder if someone thought they could copy it because it went down and they think it won't come online again
 
Someone is paying people to post there according to the latest intro post. Think someone is recruiting people from Bizdustry since they recently stopped the paid to post feature.

What happened was that there were two members of FP who created a forum and people posted on it and those posts were then merged into this new fake copycat forum. My name is on that new forum and I NEVER signed up on that forum, nor would I agree to post on something that was clearly designed to copy the original.

I don't mind promotion type forums, but ones that blatantly try to pretend to be another site is unethical.
 
It has not been up for that long and already it has 33 members, Yes I can see some are created as fake but others are not fake accounts.

Then again we all know Jason from FP and from looking at the site, account created and last logged into the site on the same day as together and yet has 44 content and last posted today Xd

Taken the advantages to grow and earn money and take FP traffic away while the main site is down.

Won't last and maybe he will close it down. what a wast of Xenforo money

Furthermore, we have no affiliation with the web host being down on ForumPromotion.net and accept no responsibility for the owner's actions (Cameron Taylor).

The decision to merge prophpbb.net with ForumPromotion.co was due to a lack of Ad Revenue, and this merge was lawful and in line with privacy laws. Members can read our privacy policy here. In addition, there are no "fake users" on ForumPromotion.co, and all users registered legitimately on prophpbb and agreed to how the data would be used.

Furthermore, we plan to switch from ForumPromotion.co to ForumPromotion.com soon to make our brand more official. We own the other "wannabe" site @Ozzy47. Please can you read the above information that I posted - we are planning to re-brand to a unique identity once we have kickstarted through SEO channels on ForumPromotion.

Understood, as you directly don't own the .net domain. What I'd to mention, is that we own the .com and .co version of ForumPromotion and we are planning to change the forum name once we've ranked in SEO (helping us with the initial kickstart of the community on ForumPromotion.)

However, please remember 1) This thread is dedicated to the original Forum Promotion. 2) We are not a site to generate backlinks, please stop spamming a million links in your post.

Ill be back when the real community returns as I’m sure many will be. But if a viable alternative was presented I think there might be a real problem for FP is the downtime continues.

It is a great shame because the community is excellent over there.
