A rare version of 1985 classic Super Mario Bros was purchased by an unknown buyer at an auction for a staggering $114,000 (£90,000). Some of the reason it was popular and expensive for bidders was that it existed in its original packaging, used only a couple of times.
I find it interesting when I see headlines like this. I wonder how on earth people can afford to pay so much on a game that they will not even enjoy as they will probably live in their box again.
