Being useful on a losing team, because freeloading to success is not success at all. Working hard and failing is still working hard and doing things properly.
I think I’d have to pick useful person on losing team. Eventually your work will be noticed and a winning team will want you. If you're the useless person on a good team, it will be painfully obvious.
History doesn't count you being useless in a winning team. The end result is what matters always.
4 years ago in the World Cup, Olivier Giroud didn't have a single shot on target as France striker but they ended up winning the World Cup. No one remembers he didn't have a shot on target but that he's a world cup winner.
I would prefer a useful individual and a member of a losing team. It is because I can still impart what I know and my abilities. Even if we lost the match, we were able to work as a team.
