Do you think Sony will have two different versions or just the base model PS5 to start with?Nice speaker! Lol, but glad they finally put this out. Alright Sony, your turn!

I always thought the same. The Xbox controller always felt more comfortable and easier to use than the PS. The touch screen in the middle of the controller, between the joysticks always felt like a strange design choice/flaw to me. I'm probably going to wait till the second gen version since the first generation usually have a myriad of problems and flaws that Microsoft isn't always willing to fix or repay.I grew up with consoles, one of my first memories was Super Mario World and gosh in my teen days i wouldn't think of anything but PlayStation games or Gamecube titles.. but those days are over, PCs are far more stronger and far more useful, so why would you spend 500$ 600$ in buying expensive games while you can get the same on PC?
Console days are over for me, it was a great era but now everything looks desperatedly ridiculous. The only thing that would make sense for me are portable systems.. but those are replaced by smartphones.. so i don't really know..
On-topic, i like the aspect and the controller.. my gosh Xbox always had the best ones for me

Microsoft has been doing that lately, they've been gradually shifting away from the iconic 'X' that gave the console its name.It was definitely created as a way for them to push the streaming angle on gamers. The 4k factor is quite huge as well.
I'm not a huge fan of the grill. It's weird that they couldn't at least put the Xbox logo as part of it so that it looked a bit better.
I said not much of a difference. I'm aware of the disc tray and 4K features of the X. I don't have a 4K TV so that's not an issue for me. The X also has superior storage and processing power however the S will perform perfectly well. I don't have much in the way of physical media any longer so discs ain't an issue. The only drawback is not being able to sell games once complete.I disagree.
I think they plan to increase the price of games, don't know if that translates into digital as well though.I said not much of a difference. I'm aware of the disc tray and 4K features of the X. As long as digital pricing reflects that it is cheaper to download a game than purchase a physical disc I'd go for the S.
Truth be told I probably won't get either, of the PS5. I'm a PC Gamer.
I disagree. I'm a huge fan of the Xbox and have been since the original one. The problem with the newer console is that all of the games for the newest Xbox console are also coming out on the PC so people could simply say why waste money on a console when they could spend those money on parts to upgrade their gaming desktop or laptop
There may be some timed exclusives in the future or exclusive content drops but I doubt the big games will ever be exclusive to just Xbox. That would be way too much money lost for Microsoft.
But it also means that they can take what used to have 10 people working on it and spread it out over 50 or more. It's merely become one of over 20 other publishing companies they've acquiredI feel like Microsoft is trying to force players like myself, who originally didn't like their game system, into buying it. So if I can't have the next Fallout game or the next Elder Scrolls on PlayStation. I have to go buy an XBOX because those games are only on XBOX now. Not what I want to do. But I will if that means I can play those games.
