I am glad that I have taxes taken off the top of each pay cheque. Makes it much more easier to breathe - as @Laifot has said - when it comes to tax time. I normally don't get a whole lot back, but at least I am not paying in.

WOW...I didn't really they were handing out that much money. Here in Canada you got $2000 per month BUT...they are not taking the taxes off of "that income" until tax time next year. So there are many many people who are going to hit tough time when the government comes to collect their taxes...

Going on a year and a half now. :) I think it will be over 2 years after a proven vaccine has made its way to public use. THEN...we will see things start to return to "normal". Until that point though, we all have to learn and adjust to living with the virus.

I have the basic of basic cable television, and Netflix. Plus you can stream everything online. I watch Netflix almost daily though. In fact, I am watching it right now ?. I’m sure it can be a waste, but if you use it regularly then it is not a waste. It’s an investment ;)

I use my email calendar religiously at work. I even schedule/block time in my calendar to actually get personal work done or else my time will always be monopolized by others and their meetings which could've been an email.

From what I saw on the news it's just a lot of brush and a few homes had some damage. Unfortunate for those affected for sure, but it could've been a whole lot worse. I was about an hour away when it hit and was sitting on a patio socializing with some friends while the storm blew over...
